JWR Laps of Honor program

At Josh White Racing, we often get asked what the Laps of Honor Program is, and it is how this team honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. The ultimate sacrifice isn't always in some battlefield far from home, it happens sometimes at home. When a Veteran serves, they often encounter traumatic experiences, and sometimes it doesn't even involve combat. PTSD is real, and while the nation is very familiar with the statistic of 22 Veterans commit suicide a day, what they don't realize is, that number is actually much higher. The laps of honor is a flyer that we at Josh White Racing make to remember and honor fallen Veterans for each lap we race. We don't only remember and honor Veterans lost to suicide but the program is in awareness of Veteran suicide, PTSD, as well as the Gold Star families left behind. To be honored for a lap, it is open to any and all fallen Veterans, and to nominate a Vet for a lap, just send us a message with their branch of service, rank, and their name. 

Support for Gold Star families - Josh White Racing extends the Laps of Honor Program in 2026 to include inviting Gold Star families to a race with the team offering them a free pit pass for a race. To nominate a Gold Star family, contact us!
